Mu Training
Through hands-on training using the Mu Test Suite, customers including carriers, critical infrastructure,
government agencies and product developers are learning how to minimize
their product or service attack surface. Training is now available
by request.
Mu Dynamics is already helping both end-users and their
product developers use a proactive, process-oriented approach to
security and robustness analysis as well as vulnerability isolation
throughout their respective development and deployment lifecycles.
Mu's solution provides scientific, unbiased metrics for real
management of security and robustness for the first time. The output of
the Mu Test Suite is actionable, and greatly reduces the "mean time to
repair" a fault.
By attending Mu Dynamics training, participants learn
to:
- Navigate the GUI and configure the Mu Test Suite for local and remote use
- Manage protocol/feature licenses, system backups, and software updates
- Access inline and online help resources like the Mu Dynamics Community site
- Use Mu-provided analysis templates and create and share their own
- Model Denial of Service scenarios with custom patterns and payloads
- Use the Service Level Traffic Variations (SLTV) module to discover protocol/system anomalies
- Validate software and hardware products using 4+
years of Published Vulnerabilities
- Generate denial-of-service simulations with the DoS module to find the limits of system performance
- Use regression analysis to validate new
releases/patches
- Research vulnerabilities with built-in expert
analysis and create detailed reports
- Export transaction files, packet captures, and other tools to help remediate
the fault
- Apply Proactive Service Assurance metrics to the development/deployment lifecycle
