Studio Zx

Within IP services, there are numerous dynamic aspects that are difficult to test using either a manual approach or with standard off the shelf protocol testers. For the very first time, Studio Zx allows customers to create thousands of tests rapidly from a rich set of inputs:

• Using their own content (either from network traffic or using the Mu scripting language)
• Using Mu provided content
• Using community generated content (e.g. www.pcapr.net)

The Studio Zx module transforms the customer’s capability for testing the Resilience and Security aspects of the service in the following situations:

1. Service level testing as opposed to protocol testing; service testing involves multi-machine, multi-protocol scenarios
2. Up front testing for cutting edge or dynamically changing services
3. Testing proprietary protocols & custom extensions to standard protocols
4. Testing variations of pcaps that represent issues seen on production networks

The tests can be run against clients, against servers or against a target system in the middle with the Mu emulating both the client and the server.
