"Customers are being asked to do more in less time with
fewer resources, and automation plays a critical role in helping customers
efficiently and effectively overcome this challenge," said Dave Kresse, CEO at
Mu Dynamics. "Ixia's broad range of
load-based testing expertise compliments Mu's focus on removing reliability,
availability and security concerns to effectively eliminate downtime and
quality assurance issues in NGN IP Services."
"Ixia and Mu share a common vision for TesLA to further

Mu's service analyzer offers three product modules; Service Level
Traffic Variation Analysis (Protocol Mutations), Known/Published
Vulnerability Analysis and Denial of Service
(DoS) Analysis. The Mu solution
automates a wide range of customers' existing service assurance, quality
assurance, SDLC and product quality deployment processes. This includes offering a wide range of
automation interfaces to solutions like HP
Quality Center. Mu's functionality also extends to web-based automation
frameworks including the XML-based Web
Services Description Language (WSDL) and Representational State Transfer (REST). Both of these interfaces help customers easily integrate the Mu solution into web-based laboratory automation frameworks, or simply to allow the Mu service analyzer to be controlled from
custom-tailored, user-defined interfaces.
