Sunnyvale, Calif. - June 8, 2007 - Mu Security, a pioneer in the new security analyzer market, today announced its Mu-4000 Security Analyzer has been distinguished as a finalist for the prestigious 2007 NXTcomm EOS Network Award in the Network Design/Services Group Category, Network Infrastructure. According to NXTcomm, over 100 outstanding nominations were submitted, of which 24 were cited for their contribution to advancement and excellence in the world of information, communications, entertainment and technology. Mu Security will showcase its award-winning security analyzer with a VoIP robustness and security demonstration in booth 1040 at NXTcomm, McCormick Place in Chicago, June 19-21.

The Mu-4000 was recognized by NXTcomm in part for its deployment at Decru®, a Network Appliance company (NASDAQ:NTAP) where it is used to secure development processes and ensure the highest level of security for Decru storage security appliances. This deployment is detailed in an October 2006 IDC report by Chris Christiansen, program vice president for IDC's security products and services group entitled Decru Tightens Storage Security With Security Analyzers From Mu Security.
