Sunnyvale - August 1, 2006 - Mu Security, a pioneer in the new security analyzer market, today announced that Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) has chosen the Mu-4000 Security Analyzer to bolster its J-Security and Security Assurance development team efforts. By deploying the Mu-4000 Security Analyzer, Juniper is enhancing its proactive security analysis for several of its product groups.
Coincident with Juniper selecting Mu Security, the company was named a "Top Ten New Startups" by Light Reading.com.
By integrating the Mu-4000 into Juniper's established product development processes, Juniper is enhancing the security analysis lifecycle of their design and development efforts. As a result, Juniper is amplifying its effectiveness in proactively identifying, isolating and quickly updating its products' ability to defend against network- and application-level attacks before they inflict any damage, minimizing the potential downtime and costs associated with these attacks.
