ISA (Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation) Society

The ISA (Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation) Society is actively working on two fronts to improve security for industrial control systems: The ISA Security Compliance Institute (ISCI) and the ISA99 standards effort (specifically Working Group 4). The ISCI is working on defining and promulgating the ISASecure logo and certification program, which will be the public face of the evolving ISA99 standards. MultiService Forum (MSF)

Mu is a MultiService Forum (MSF) member. MSF is a global association of network operators, system suppliers and test equipment vendors committed to developing and promoting open-architecture, multiservice Next Generation Networks. The MSF's activities include the upcoming Global Oct 20-31 IPTV Interoperabity event at Tier 1 operators including BT, Vodafone, China Mobile and Verizon, developing Implementation Agreements, promoting worldwide compatibility and interoperability of network elements, and encouraging input to appropriate national and international standards bodies.

 
 
NSS Labs

NSS Labs is the world's foremost independent security testing facility. NSS' awards are recognized world-wide as being the most desirable and essential when it comes to security products. Avaya's SIP Center is a portal for the commercial development of the Session Initiation Protocol. Test Lab Automation (TesLA)

Ixia™ and its partners founded the TesLAcm Alliance (Test Lab Automation) to provide an open, multi-vendor automation framework that allows alliance members to offer integrated IP test automation solutions for their network operator and vendor customers.  The three (3) types of TesLA alliance members – traffic generation, automation infrastructure and value-added components - will build and market compatible solutions for automating testing in customer quality assurance (QA) facilities.  TesLA aims to provide customers a much needed framework and open-source tools to raise productivity, improve ROI and accelerate NGN IP service time to market. Ixia is today hosting a TesLA alliance briefing and product demonstrations today at Ixia’s iSimCity proof-of-concept lab in Santa Clara, Calif.
