Dave Kresse, CEO
Dave Kresse is CEO of Mu Dynamics. He was previously VP and general manager of the storage management and application integration business unit at NetApp [NASDAQ: NTAP] where he led the company's rapidly growing application integration and data/storage management software business. Prior to joining NetApp, Dave led product marketing at Leapfrog Enterprises, where he managed the development and introduction of eight new product lines. Previously he was part of the executive team at PowerSchool, Inc. (acquired by Apple Computer), growing its revenue and customer base nearly 10-fold over a two year period. Dave has also served as a case team leader and consultant at Bain & Company, a strategy consulting firm. Dave holds a BA degree in human biology from Stanford University and an MBA degree with distinction from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Ajit Sancheti, Co-founder and Vice President of Business Development
Ajit Sancheti is a co-founder and VP of Business Development of Mu Dynamics. Ajit was previously a Senior Manager in Juniper's Corporate Development Group and was an instrumental member of the team that developed the industry's first Intrusion Detection and Prevention system for OneSecure before it was acquired by NetScreen. Prior to OneSecure, Ajit spent more than seven years at Western Digital, holding various senior-level engineering and management positions. Ajit has authored several papers, focusing on mechanical engineering, and holds U.S. patents on acoustics and vibration technologies. He has a Masters in engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Kowsik Guruswamy, Co-founder and CTO
Kowsik Guruswamy is the co-founder and CTO of Mu Dynamics. Prior to founding Mu, he was a Distinguished Engineer at Juniper Networks and the Chief Architect for the Intrusion Prevention product line. Kowsik joined Juniper Networks through the NetScreen/OneSecure acquisition where he designed and architected the first inline Intrusion Prevention device. He holds 8 patents in various networking and security technologies and has a MS in computer science from the University of Louisiana.

Simon Berman, Vice President of Products
Simon Berman is the VP of Products responsible for product marketing and management at Mu Dynamics. He previously spent 2 years with AtHoc as VP of Marketing. Prior to AtHoc he spent 12+ years at Mercury Interactive (now part of Hewlett-Packard) as Senior Director of Products where he helped build the company’s load testing business to more than 70% market share with annual revenues exceeding $250M. Prior to Mercury, Simon spent 3 years as a software engineer at Radcom developing networking test equipment. He holds an MS in computer science from University College London and a BS in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College, London.

Paul Emery, Vice President of Engineering
Paul Emery is the VP of Engineering at Mu Dynamics. Paul brings more than 18 years of global software engineering and technology management experience in the enterprise software and financial services industries. Prior to Mu, Paul was the VP of Engineering and Technical Services at Visible Path. Before Visible Path, Paul was VP of Server Technologies at Oracle, VP of Engineering and Client Services at FaceTime Communications and VP of Engineering at Vignette, where he led the successful product integration efforts of several of Vignette’s strategic acquisitions. Paul joined Vignette through its acquisition of enterprise portal pioneer Epicentric, where he was also the VP of Engineering. He holds an AB degree in physics from Harvard University.

Gary Olson, Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Gary Olson is the VP of Worldwide Sales. Olson joins Mu from
Sun Microsystems where he served as Director for US Software Sales.
Prior to Sun, Gary was VP of Central United States, Canada
and Latin/South America at SeeBeyond where he provided
critical and key sales leadership responsible
for the company’s growth from a $35M pre-IPO to a publicly held company
acquired by Sun for $300M in 2005. He also
held sales management and leadership roles at Parametric
Technology and Unilever and was a long-time Officer with the United
States Air Force, serving in Desert Storm. Gary holds a BS degree in engineering and political science from the United States Air Force
Academy as well as a Masters degree in public administration from Troy
State University-European Region.

Carolyn Newburn, Director of Marketing
Carolyn Newburn is the Director of Marketing. She is a seasoned marketing professional with an extensive background in branding, marketing communications, corporate communications and marketing programs. Previously, Carolyn was the Sr. Director of Corporate Marketing at Macrovision (now Rovi Corporation) where she was responsible for corporate communications, corporate marketing and web marketing. At Macrovision, she significantly increased brand awareness and implemented an integrated marketing strategy that dramatically improved lead generation. Prior to Macrovision, Carolyn led Worldwide Marketing at Network General and McAfee. She holds a BA degree, Management from St. Mary's College.
