Alex Balkanski, Benchmark Capital
Alex brings 14 years of corporate leadership and operational experience to Benchmark. Prior to joining the firm, Alex founded C-Cube in 1988, took it public in 1994, and acquired DiviCom in 1998. The two companies drove the MPEG standard to dominance in consumer electronics and broadcasting, winning many industry awards, including the first Emmy ever to be given to a semiconductor company. By the time C-Cube was acquired by LSI Logic in 2001, the company was generating a half-billion dollars in annual revenue and had 1,200 employees worldwide. C-Cube is now the consumer division of LSI Logic, and DiviCom represents the largest part of Harmonic.

Alex serves on the Board of Directors at Ambarella, Aspendos, DeCru (acquired by Network Appliance), Entrisphere, Infinera, Mu Dynamics, Newport Media, Picarro and Xoomsys.

Alex holds a Ph.D. and a master's degree from Harvard University as well as a B.S. from Harvard College.

David Flynn, CEO and President of Aerohive Networks Inc.
David Flynn has more than 15 years experience in the networking and security industries working with both software and hardware products. He was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at NetScreen Technologies from 1999 to 2004 where he drove marketing, product and corporate strategy leading to a successful IPO and the eventual $4 billion sale of the company to Juniper Networks. At Juniper, David served as Vice President of Products for the Security Products Group. Prior to NetScreen he worked at 3Com Corporation for 8 years, where he held various marketing and product management positions including Vice President of Marketing for the architecture and software operation in the Client Access Business Unit. David has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College, Williamstown, MA.

Amnon Landan, Investor and Former Chairman and CEO of Mercury Interactive
Amnon Landan, is a 2003 Forbes Entrepreneur of the Year and former Chairman and CEO of Mercury Interactive. An early member of the Mercury Team, joining in November 1989, Mr. Landan held numerous management positions. Mr. Landan holds a B.Sc. degree in computer sciences from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Ping Li, Accel Partners
Ping has worked in networking and telecommunications since the mid-1990's as a financier, product line manager and executive. He joined Accel in 2004 to focus on networked infrastructures, including communications, security, computing and wireless. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Mu Dynamics and is actively involved in Azul Systems, Consentry Networks, Imperva, Reactivity, and Trapeze Networks.

Prior to Accel, Ping was a Senior Product Line Manager and Director of Corporate Development at Juniper Networks. He managed Juniper's M-series router product portfolio and development roadmap that generated revenues over $50 mm/quarter. In addition, Ping worked on Juniper's acquisition of Netscreen Technologies ($4 billion transaction) and led all subsequent security and routing product and R&D integration activities. He also worked as a strategy consultant for Mckinsey & Company, advising technology clients in their growth strategies.

Ping has extensive international telecommunications experience as well. At Singapore Telecom, he served directly for the executive management team in assessing and investing in Asian growth opportunities. Prior to SingTel, Ping worked at Goldman Sachs Asia, transacting large PTT privatizations and advising telecom clients on complex restructuring and asset divestitures.

Ping holds an A.B. from Harvard University, with honors, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
