Mu Dynamics Ends Record Sales Year with Best Quarter in Company History

Greater than 60% Year-over-Year Growth in New Business Driven by Customer Demand

(www.mudynamics.com), the leader in validating and testing applications and application-aware networks, today announced that it finished a record sales year with its largest ever quarter.  The company realized greater than 60% year-over-year growth in new business, driven by increased demand from new and existing customers, including multiple Fortune 1000 companies, as well as an expansion into the enterprise, mobile and cloud markets.

Mu Dynamics experienced exponential growth in 2011 with Blitz.io, an Application Performance Management (APM) solution developed specifically for the rapidly growing DevOps ecosystem. The Blitz user base has more than doubled over the past quarter to nearly 10,000 users today. Blitz is purpose-built to meet the needs of companies of all sizes, including large enterprises, building and deploying mobile and cloud applications. In addition to adding significant value for Blitz customers, the massive growth in user adoption has been accelerated through partnerships with leading Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Content Management Solution (CMS) companies, including Heroku, Atlassian, CloudFlare and Acquia.

Within its network testing business, the company’s success is the result of service provider, enterprise, and federal agency customers recognizing the critical need to test the performance and security of their networks by recreating application mixes on those networks. Only Mu Studio Performance and Mu Studio Security offer a testing solution capable of immediately and accurately recreating multiple types of applications at scale – including Web, enterprise and mobile apps – to determine how these applications impact network performance and security.
